We know that we do not have all the answers ourselves and would love to hear from anyone that may have ideas on how to fundraise for our cause. Some ideas below might get you started.

Host a Dinner Party – Gather your friends around for a  night of fun and donate the money you would have spent on a restaurant to the cause.

Complete a Fun Run – What a great way to stay fit and make a difference at the same time. Events such as ‘Run Melbourne’ allow you to raise funds for a particular cause along the way.

Organise Workplace Giving – Many of our wonderful local workplaces already have workplace giving programs in place. If so, add the Feed Ballarat appeal to the list of causes. If not, rally your team together to give a small amount from each pay to those in need.

Paper Bag Lunch Day – Instead of using the school canteen one day, bring your own lunch and donate the funds to the cause.

Appeal Sponsorship – If you believe in the cause and would like to partner with us to show your support in a commercial way, we have a number of partnerships available. email for more information or call us on 03 5331 5555.

Paper Bag Lunch Day – Why buy your lunch each day. Arrange for your workplace to bring their lunch from home for the day and collect the money each person might save.

Loose Change Tins – Ask us about placing a donation tin in your business. Every little bit helps.

Employee gift Matching – Do your employees give to the cause already? Why not match any contribution that they make as an incentive for them to give more and create a bigger impact.

Morning Tea – Arrange a morning tea for your staff and raise funds with a gold coin donation.

Community Groups

If you are a service club in the greater Ballarat community would love to speak with you about how we could partner for this great cause.

We know that this is just a short list of things that you could do and encourage fundraising of all kind. We encourage you to get creative but ask that you check in with our fundraising do’s and don’ts to give you some guidance.
