Sharing is caring!

The Ballarat Foundation is excited to be holding Ballarat Reads Storytime Pop Up sessions at Stockland Wendouree.

All little kids love have a story read to them! Its a chance to snuggle up with Mum or Dad and have some quiet, bonding time together. Not only that, reading to kids from an early age is so important for their cognitive development.

The Storytime pop up sessions aim to promote the importance of reading in early childhood. Sessions will be help at Stockland Wendouree from 10:30am – 12 midday every Tuesday during term time.

Each week different books from the Ballarat Reads Imagination Library will be read during story time. There will also be a chance for children to participate in literacy themed games and activities such as crafting, puzzles and practicing writing.

The sessions will particularly appeal to preschool children, but babies right through to school aged children are welcome.

Parents are to remain at the session and are encouraged to engage with their children by helping them complete activities and reading stories together.

We hope you can come along and share in some fun reading time!
