ballarat toy library

The Ballarat Toy Library supports families in the greater Ballarat community by having a range of quality toys available for loan. Through play, toys promote a child’s learning and development and being a member of the Toy Library allows families to expose their child to an enormous range of play experiences, reduce their ecological footprint and save money.

Due to a move of premises and increase in toy numbers, display and storage of the toys has become cluttered and difficult for members to wade through.

The Grant will help to improve the storage and display of the Toys to enable users better access and to facilitate a more efficient check out and return system.

Bill Mundy from Telstra Country Wide announced the recipients on the night: “ tt is a privelidge and honour to be able to support these local groups who provide resources for our local community now and into the future.”
